Bigred laying egg into spoon

So here is a great picture of Bigred laying an egg into a spoon. This was taken last night about 9:30 pm. She was starting to get cold so I rigged up a basking spot lamp to keep her warm. I was able to do this same spoon thing last year with her, She laid 4 and my other female Princess laid 4. Her nest was covered and you couldnt even tell she was digging, she covered it perfectly smooth on the top.

It was 10 oc clock at night so it was just dark. I had basking spot on her to keep her warm

Honestly not very sneaky she let me do the same thing last year. She laid 3 clutches last year so shes probably got a few more in there

how many of these eggs are accually fertalized and what percent hatch? I only ask because it seems your females are ALWAYS laying and it seem like you'd have Tons of babies just this year alone

Last year only one of my females Bigred laid, she laid 13 eggs and 10 of them hatched. This year I have 2 females laying, My other female has laid 14 eggs so far and should be hatching out soon. Bigred just started for the year so far 4 from her. Its a long story but I have 19 eggs in the incubator right now and Bigred is just getting started for the year. Probably going to need another incubator. I have 3 hatchlings left that my 88 year old mom watches for me
