Bing Crosby arrived from Vegas today!

pretty pumped today when the fed ex truck showed up at my workplace. i have worked 17 years for a veterinary clinic.

the heat pack was still warm. he was packaged great by tortoise supply

i already have a sulcata named louis armstrong, so this little "guy" is named bing crosby. "gone fishin" - the song sung by louis and bing is one of my faves.

got him a soak as soon as he got here

now we are getting ready to head home at the close of the day and get him all snug in his new enclosure

Funny how you need heat pack, while the seller here when they want to ship it, they will first consider whether the weather is too hot or not

he is cute, isn't he?! but, i know we all say that about all of our torts. he already found his hide without me having to show it to him. he's snug as a bug now. i was really pleased with tortoise supply. i requested one with as dark coloring as possible and he sure is.

i'd been tracking him since he was shipped and was watching the clock, knowing fedex usually arrives at my workplace around 4 p.m. cst.

i have a sulcata already which was 5 months old when i got him, so i was really surprised at how tiny this little "guy" was when he arrived. now, i'm just hoping he's as easy for me to raise as my sully has been and he stays good and healthy.
