I have 2 eastern boxies & I built an enclosure for them. It's made out of wood & I want to line it because I try to give them damp areas. Can I use spray liner?ImageUploadedByTortForum1383455630.740148.jpg

If you mean that rubber stuff that is used to spray truck beds, no, don't do it. The chemicals can be toxic. Don't know for sure but highly doubt that they would be safe for a little turtle to breathe fumes or residues daily. How about stapling a pond liner, like the ones for fish?

For my boxie's enclosure I bought a tarp and trimmed it down to the size I wanted it. Then I fitted it to the enclosure and taped it at the top with that gorilla duct tape.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

That's a very nice box turtle habitat. I see a couple things wrong with the lighting, though.

First of all, if you're using a UV light, the rays bounce off of screening that small, and secondly, the lights are way too high to be reaching the bottom of the enclosure.

You can cut out holes for the lights to sit over, and point them straight down.

Some of our members use a good-quality enamel paint for the tort table, and some just line it with sheet plastic. Both ways work just fine.
