My sulcata is now 5 pounds and 10 inches long and I want to make sure "she" is a girl.

With pictures of the underside of the tortoise we could make a guess but really that is still to small to be sure.

Your tortoise is absolutely showing no secondary sexual characteristics at this point. Can’t even guess as it is so neutral!!
Usually 16” and 16 lbs is the point at which you can be sure unless a male flashes earlier.

Aww man. Well thanks for letting me know when I can find out!
Its definitely a boy or a girl.
Dozer looked just like this til he was just over 3 years and 11 lbs. Then last summer he started to change. He's just 4 years old, and has flashed his parts. I would say 6 months to a year you will know.
