I'm full of questions nowadays. Lol.

Can anyone tell me at what size their Eastern Box Turtles were able to breed / lay eggs ?

Age is difficult to determine since I didn't raise mine myself.

Either length of plastron or weight ?

I think size is more an indicator than age. I have a 4 year old female who is 6 inches and 1 1/2 lbs and she has been that size for over a year.

Thanks.
The females I have are about 4" plastron.
And I have a male that is 6". Not sure when / if I'll put him in with the females but don't want him breeding with ones too young for him.

Maybe next Spring.

He really seems quite a bit larger than they are.

How old is your male? My male is 13 and not that big. He is only 5 inches. I might just have a tiny male
