We are heading to the beach here in just over a month. Im wanting to bring Penelope and Tuukka with us because I really don't trust leaving them home with someone with no knowledge taking care of them for 10 days. I was just wondering what to keep them in so I can go ahead and start planning that out. Right now, im thinking of bringing the kiddie pool with us and keep them outside most of the day on the porch (which is shaded). It's hot and very humid here on South Carolinas coast, so I really don't think there would be a problem with that. Of course the basking bulb. And we don't use fertilizer at our house so they can graze all they want. But what would I use to keep them in at night? What are ideas for portable indoor enclosures?

Get a tote box for each. Most likely it will be warm enough they shouldn't need added night heat. Bring them in when they are only going to be sleeping.

the kiddie pool is a good idea. are they the same species? i wouldn't keep deterrent species in one pool. and for night time, I'd just buy a plastic shoe box and throw some dirt and moss in it. use the top if you need to, depending on their size.

I got a plastic storage box and put him in there. Then I got a box type thing that hooks up in the car and you can plug your light into it.ImageUploadedByTortForum1367954382.048607.jpg
I had him in the back seat and it worked out great.

I like that idea. Yea, they're both sullys. I found a couple tote boxes in the attic. I'll use those. I have foggers for them both. Should I bring those? Like for night time? I don't think I'll have a problem with humidity if I keep them on the porch during the day because beaches here are about as humid as it can get.
