Bugs came from some of my wood. Could they be coming from your enclosure material or do you use a wood hide? (Mine were in a tree log hide thingy)

You can bake or boil your substrate before using it. However, this will only keep the bugs away longer. Eventually they will come back. They don't hurt anything to have them though.

If you microwave the substrate on each side for a few minutes, it might help. I've never had bugs since I've done that, but it could also be because I switched out the wood hide.

Diatomaceous earth - but it must be kept dry. Doesn't work anymore if it gets wet.
