bugs?

so apparently i should check Ophelia for parasites. i was told this through another thread. im unsure on how to go about checking for this. so suggestions are needed please. and where/ how would i do this?

i got her from petco, and now im geussing that was not such a good idea. advice would be greatly appreciated.

The russians at petco are usually riddled with parasites, I can not say the same for their RF's but A vet visit with a stool fecal check would most likely not be a bad idea.

If it came from a petshop I would definitely have a fecal done. They are notorious for mixing species together with the definite possibility of sharing 'bugs'.

okay. so now i just take a sample and take her to the vet. now i need to know where i could take her. we have a vvet here, but im not sure if they take tortoises. does anyone live in New York and know of any place?
