so i'm getting ready to start building a new and long term table for my Iron Man and i had the question of would it hurt/stress him/her if i put a plexiglass view from the front? i was thinking of doing it to where i could see in but the plexiglass is way above Iron man i want to see in do be able to read the gauges and etc and i also had the question of would fake plant's be ok just for decor'e i currently have 3 spider plants in there but i'd like to add some more and different looking plants just as hides and such and would it be better to get "reptile safe fake plants" from petco petsmart or other such stores or would it be easier and cheaper to go to a craft store?

Plexi is fine. If your tort is prone to stressing about seeing out, then I would suggest putting the glass higher up so it's not at eye level. Mine has never had issues with seeing out (plexi on all sides at eye level, his enclosure is my coffee table) so you could give that a shot.

A fake plant is a fake plant to me... if you're worried about any chemicals being on the craft store plants, just wash them a couple times and you'll be good to go. I love having some fake plants because I don't have to replace them ever lol

the thing is i'm not sure if he's going to stress or not i haven't had him/her long seeing out doesn't seem to bother it but granted the only time it sees out is if it climbs on top of its house which it does all the time ( can't get out) he almost seem's curious of what is going on around him not scared or anything else just really curious. i was thinking about putting the plexi up high anyway to avoid scratches if he decided to scratch at it or his shell rubs against it. he is still very small and i'm try to plan and get it build in advance to actually needing it

Putting the plexi up high is really the best of both worlds. You can see in and he can't see out. Good on you for planning ahead!

How will you maintain humidity in an open topped enclosure?

it's not going to be open topped well it sort of will be the top will be removeable or on hinged to swing open if i want it open that's my whole point of build a new enclosure because humidity is a pain to keep up right now if everything turns out like i want it (which i think it will) the lid will encase the light's as well to help hold in heat and humidity but on hot day's or when it gets older and doesn't need as high as humidity as now it's still a hatchling right now
