I definitely can answer this question. The pink colored hides are 2 square plastic planters from Lowe's, I cut the sides out of them and put them together they are buried in roughly 2" of substrate. Mojo is a digger inside his hides. The tunnel is 4" pvc drainage pipe coupled together with a 4" sewage drain pvc coupler. The far left side is a 90° elbow and the right side going into the pink hides is a 4" T- fitting. To answer the falling off question, yes they will fall off of it. There's a tortoise break in period, it took Mojo a handful of times to realize he could go down the same way he went up. But until then he would jump off the end of the hide which was a smaller shorter one at the time. I've only had to flip him up right 2 times since bringing him home over a year ago. He doesn't jump off the hides anymore. Attached are pictures of Mojo jumping off hides and some more pictures of the hides.Does anyone have any experience with setting up hides like the below pic? I'm wondering if there are any challenges, like the tortoise falling or getting stuck on their back?
Also, can anyone tell what are used for hides in this pic?

This is what I used as a ramp over the pvc pipe.

I would like to do that. I need to get another one of the hamster ramps like I have on the right side.Hm. A nice expansion to Mojo's castle. I would add a second ramp on the left, behind the grass clump, so he can run in circles over the "gallery".
Looks good! Is the black hide just an upside down pot? I was scoping at thrift stores today for plastic stuff and oddly couldn't find anything.Update: so 6" pvc is too big for this enclosure. So I improvised with this, we'll see how it goes. View attachment 381055View attachment 381056View attachment 381057View attachment 381058
Yes it's all 10" plastic pot. The only real plant in there is the cat grass the rest are fake. If your i assume tortoise or bearded dragon is under 4" wide i can send you all of Mojo's old tunnels, you just pay the shipping. You can message me your address.Looks good! Do you use fake plants or real? Im trying to make a decision on plants as well.
