I just had a question about my leo he burrows really deep into his substrate until the point I can't see him

Digging in isn't unusual, but digging in and not doing anything at all is a possible probem. Can you describe what's happening in more detail?

How long have you had him?
What are the four important temperatures? (Warm side, cool side, directly under the basking lamp and overnight minimum)
What are you using for UVB?

Tortoises burrow into the substrate to hydrate themselves and to hide. That is normal.
Does your tortoise have a ( humid ) hide and is the substrate humid ? Can you please post some pics of the enclosure of your tort ? Often pics say more than 100 words.
