We all know that tortoise enclosures come with a lot of cables. With all the extension cords, timers and different devices I feel like mine looks like a mess, and I thought to ask, what do you all do for cable management? Any tips?

There are a bunch of different products on the market for managing cables, and I feel a bit lost about what to get. I am currently looking at diffrent power strip holders, cable nail clips (my enclosure is wooden) and spiral cable wraps.

I don't use anything fancy. Just velcro strips. If I ever need to move, maintain, or replace any of the corded devices, I find this is the quickest/easiest solution.

Due to the lenght of the cable for my UVB lamp, one of the extension cords is pretty close to Edwards enclosure, and I worry about any possible water dripping on it. Should I protect it somehow, like this?

I certainly would. All my outdoor outlets are protected from the elements.

Yeah, I am talking about an indoor enclosure, but as the extension cord is nearby I fear of spilling any water on it when pouring some in Edwards water dish for example.
Ah, I see. Im just careful to keep the cables off the floor for my indoor enclosures.
