Cactus fun

I set out to find some cacti for my redfoot today, we have a lot growing wild around here in Texas. I learned today that the large spines on these guys are more or less just a warning
Those small hairlike ones tear you up! I completely overlooked them when trimming the pads off. I finally got everything cut clean & burned those little guys off. Today's menu special is cacti & superworms

Very nice, yea i hate the small hair like thin spines that are covered and hidden on the cactus.
Sounds great, soon you need to buy your own spinless or with thorns and grow it!

I hate to break it to you. But the spineless has the little hairy ones too. They don't bother me though, I just rub my skin where they are and they usually go away.

I think those little hair things have radar for me. I don't care what I do, if I get around the cactus or where they have been for any reason, I have those things stuck in me... and they stay stuck for days.

Those little hairs suck, I cut a cactus up tonight and I feel those little buggers in my fingers as I type...
