I found ground oyster shells at the feed store today. Is this a safe type to sprinkle on food?
I was told to get calcium Carbonate in bulk at the feed store. Is that what this is?

As I understand it Calcium Carbonate is limeflour, crushed oyster shells are different. I have read on other forums that crushed oyster shells can sometimes cause impactions, I have not witnessed this though I am no expert. This link tells you more about Calcium Carbonate
