I have an abundance of this plant in my yard. I'm not sure if it's some sort of knot weed. Can anyone identify it?

Great thanks. I hate it! It's invaded my yard, garden everywhere. At least it's useful now.
That's how I felt about most weeds, until I got my torts. :)

Yeah, many people use both the flowers and leaves in salads. I believe water cress is in the same genus.

Man! One person's trash another's treasure! Those are annuals in the cold climate where I live. I'm guessing they must have seeded themselves and are coming back everywhere? I'm so jealous of you. I go through all kinds of effort to grow those from seeds and they do not get as big as yours. My tortoise really likes them and everyone's right that they are edible for people too. Feed the leaves and the flowers to your tortoise. Free food! Hooray!
