They do not get flowers. They do have some spots on them and grow large very quickly.I get it in my yard also. Do the leafs lay flat with dandelion looking flowers? Heres a pic in my yard. Looks similarView attachment 293964
I think yours is likely catsear. Also a dandelion relative. Lays flat, as you say, and sends up single yellow flowers on a stalk, like dandelions do. Totally safe and good to feed. The tortoises don't care about the spines at all.Can anyone tell me what type of weed this is, AND is it safe for leopard tortoises to eat it? It does have tiny spines on it but they got ahold of some and were eating it.
