Here is two of mine.

this is a mixed enclosure. I have 3 month olds and 7 month olds together.
When the hatchlings first came their enclosure was pretty sparce. Water pan and hide. That was all. They slept a great part of the day and I didn't want to risk them flipping. The substrate is Aspen. I am currently completing an outside enclosure for them which hopefully will be done this week. I will post when completed.
Hope this helps alittle.

Thanks Crazy1! By the way, would it be okay to keep a hatchling on coconut fiber?

cali, i think you will find that your russian would much prefer to dig in a relatively deep bed of soil and sand. coco fiber would probably work but it is dusty and not ideal for burrowing.

Here are a few of my hatchling enclosures, for the Russians i use sterilised topsoil.
This is a recent build, a bit rough around the edges but does its job, the Horsfields are on the bottom tier.
