Hi sorry for the urgency but I won't be able to get this for another while if I don't buy now. Are either of these substrates suitable for my 2 year old Greek tortoise?

Thanks

I don't like the long strands they both seem to have
Look for coconut coir, they come in bricks sometimes. They are more a texture of saw dust
Also you can use orchid or fir bark.

Exo-Terra Plantation Soil is a coconut coir. However, amount of long strands looks excessive. Check if you can get Habistat Coir Block (it has some amount of strands but not too much and rehydrating it is a breeze).

Can you get orchid bark similar to this....

Or prorep orchid bark

I have used for years with success and does not get trampled over food or invested.
