He doesn’t drink water I put him in a big box with water and he gets out of it. Should I force him to stay in?

You need a tall sided opaque tub. Use warm water about 1/3 to 1/2 way up his body. Leave him in the tub for about 30 minutes and keep the water warm for the entire soak. Water temp should be warm. Not cold, not hot.

You only need to do this once or twice a week for an adult. Some of them get used to it sooner than others.
