Caribbean rf tortoise habitat

Hey guys..
I have 2 Caribbean rf tortoises they have always lived in a dry enclosure, i have searched that they normal need a wet enclosure
Please help

They need a humid enclosure, not a wet one. Access to water to self soak in, yes. Redfoots are prone to a fungus called shell rot so you don't want them in a wet enclosure. Im sure living where you are the humidity is high. What is the average daily humidity level where you are?

If they live outside your humidity might be fine as-is.
here in Florida the humidity is regularly over 70%.

It's good enough. That and the rains that happen in between!

you should have a shallow pond, just a few inches deep, in the enclosure so they can drink and soak themselves whenever they want
