Hello
If I order Cactus from carolina pet supply do you know how long they can be outside the fridge without going bad and how long is it going to stay good if when I will put it in my fridge.

Thanks

Isa I would ask Carolina Pet supply that very question. Only they will know how fresh it is.

Thanks Robyn
That is the answer I got:

It will last for about a month at room temperature. If it starts to wrinkle just soak in cold water for about an hour to rehydrate it. You can also pot it up in vermiculite and water when dry. This way it will root and last indefinitely. Just cut the roots to feed.

I did not know it could last forever :), Very good!

Hmm I almost forget to ask:
How do I offer the cactus pad to Hermy, as it is of I dice it fisrt? Should I give him the interior of the cactus pad or all of it?
And Should I give cactus to Hermy once a week, once a month? Is it a treat or a good vitamin source?

Thanks :)

Thanks for the info!

I would dice it up for the smaller guys and mix it with your other foods, or as a nice treat. For my larger guys, I would cut it into strips and they would eat it like candy. :)
