Anyone try using cement mixing tubs to grow weeds? Do I have to drill holes on the bottom for it to work? I've got some grazing tort mix I'd like to plant.

I would think if you don't over water it, you wouldn't have to drill holes. But, if your going to set it outside where it can get rained on, then yes, you will need to drill holes. I have not used one, but it should work pretty good.

Every container for growing plants should have holes for drainage. A big tub will make a fine planter, once one drills a number of good-sized holes in the bottom.
