Thanks guys! I kinda felt like I made it worse. But looking back I can see that I kinda helped! The reptile breeders I got her from kinda seemed like they had too much to handle. They had two at least 12" sulcatas in a cage that was maybe 2' wide and 5' and 6' tall with a huge iguana in the cage he said "we let them excursive sometimes." I felt bad. She was my first tortoise and when I got her I had researched sulcatas for a long time and kept her in a 50 gallon tank. It was fine.... For like three months when she decided to grow. Lol. Anyways, when I picked her our there were maybe 5 or 6 her size in what was maybe a 40 gallon tall tank? Maybe 50? They had bark substrate a waterbowl that couldn't even for her legs and a few prices of lettuce. The lady said "lettuce is a good think to feed them. It's very nutritious." I knew that was wrong but I just wanted to get my tortoise and get home. My biggest fear was that she would get pyramiding. I'm so relieved to hear people say that she looks good! I'm so excited to see how she grows! Thanks!
Wow that is really impressive. She looks so much better. Those pictures should be used to reassure new keepers that with the right conditions pyramiding can be lessened. If it's caught early enough of course. Thanks for sharing.
