I keep the thermostat at 82. And the humidity around 84. Each side has a CHE and the light on the left is just an incandescent bulb. Keeps it around 86 during the day

I was wondering about the uvb light. I have a t8 5.0. I’ve been reading on here the t5 is better though. Should I switch?

A T5 HO uvb is much better at providing uvb than a T8.
A T8 would need to be like 7" away from the tortoise or closer to provide any real uvb. And then not much.
However, if your RF will be getting some actual outdoors sunlight also, the need for additional uvb will be eliminated altogether.
Redfoot don't have high uvb level needs
