Just curious if anyone here has had a decent amount of experience with CGT's? I purchased my first one about two months ago. He is now about 4 months old im guessing. He is very active, eats like crazy, and loves the water. Not an avid basker though. I have him in a 40 gal breeder, canister filter, UV sterilizer, heater keeping water at a steady 81 degrees, basking platform, log and river rocks for substrate. The basking platform is heated by a ceramic heater keeping the platform area at approximately 95 degrees 24/7 and a reptisun 5.0 bulb that is on 13 hrs/day.
I love him to pieces and I want to give him the best life possible but there isnt much info out there that is breed specific. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
