Maybe I'm getting paranoid at this point. But with this injury and change in behavior (new sleeping spot); could this be a sign of something going on internally? Always feared eggs. But she's active and eating and social still.

I would try to relax. Follow Yvonne's directions. She has aided MANY turtles and tortoises. Your tortoise might be acting different because you keep picking her up and disturbing her. Just monitor your tortoise. Keep us posted.

Clean it then dry it well and dab on some Neosporin or other first aid cream. then put either a cotton puff with masking tape or Liquid Bandage to keep it clean
How long should I keep this up? I feel like progress has been good. She's still on substrate and I opted for a literal bandaid and check it daily. Wondering if it should have time to 'breathe'. Some times I wonder if I should skip the flamazine too, but keep the bandaid on.
Comparison from day one to today.

It looks a lot better. I think I would just leave it alone at this point. Eventually the scute keratin will grow back together over the chip and you will never know it was there.

If you are worried about eggs (which would be entirely unrelated to this minor chip), you will need to have the tortoise X-rayed to see if there really are any eggs.
