I saw something online that said to use diluted apple cider vinegar and a toothbrush to clean a tortoise/turtle shell. IDK if this is true or if it works, has anyone tried this before or have any other cleaning tips?
Okay!! thank you so muchJust water and a rag if it bugs you. Torts love to get dirty it gives them street cred! Haha occasionally I use Tortoise Shine made by @jsheffield

I put my tortoises in the sink with warm water. Give the shell a scrub with a soft tooth brush. Take out and dry. Make up a mixture of 4 parts linseed oil and 1 part clove oil and brush it on. leave for 10-15 minutes, then buff up with dry cloth. The oil helps to keep the scutts in good condition and moisturised.I saw something online that said to use diluted apple cider vinegar and a toothbrush to clean a tortoise/turtle shell.
