Okay so i have a 3 toed box turtle named Ripplee , and his cage walls are built pretty good and he still seems to be able to get out , by clilmbing over the walls , so i was wondering is it okay to clip his nails to prevent him from climbing the walls ? or does anyone have anyother ideals of how i can prevent him from climbing out. ?

I think putting more stuff in there to hide in or digg into.. will make him want to stay more.. put a lip on the top so he cant climb out. Have it stick out about 6 inches to the inside. he wont be able to climb over that.

Just by looking it may be the bricks, they have the crack between that he probably gets his little nails in. If you can use something more solid like cinder block that might work.

I think capping all the edges like Laura said (like how you've got it in the back) will work.

Also, dig your water dish down into the ground.
