i agree to but i can't find it in bulk around me so i maybe forced to switch to something i can get cheaper only pet stores carry it here in single bricks like the size of a red brick

Glad you like the coir, but you've got to get that hay out of there before it molds. You can't use hay with a damp substrate, and babies don't usually eat dry hay anyway.
