COD LIVER OIL

Hi:

Would it be good for my Russian and Desert Tortoises to have cod liver oil? If so, how much and how often should I put it on their food?

Great source of Vitamin A and I would definitely recommend it as an easy to use source if you werre worried about a deficiency (along with other vit A veggies)....other than that, I've never thought of using it as a staple part of a diet.

Would it hurt to put it into the water?

I use it with my box turtles. I put a few drops on every week and increase it just before hibernation.
