First time outside for Jacky after she created a waterfall in her enclosure. Whilst she was outside she left a little present.View attachment 389531
First thing Lola does every morning now is head for the door and lies there until I let him out. Then he has a little walk out and comes back inside until the sun is on his favourite spot so the he can stretch out and soak up some rays. I feel guilty if I have to go out and bring him back indoors but it's too risky to leave him out.

Good morning/afternoon all.
It's another beautiful day but there is change on the way with some much needed rain coming in next week, and over Easter - just in time for the 2 week school holidays! Mums and dads won't be happy!!

The mouse saga continues and he continues to avoid triggering the traps. Maybe he's the Tom Cruse of the mouse world and is lowering himself down to the food through the trap roof.
I have a new one on the way which I hope will be more sensitive. I was going to try to starve him out but I'm worried he'll start nibbling things he shouldn't.
It's a good job I'm patient.
I hope everyone is having a good Friday. TTFN

I have to do the same with Jacky but then I have found that she likes to play with the bathroom scales and mop!

My brother is having the same problem with a large breed mouse around his house. The sneaky bugger has been getting the food without tripping the trap. Now all of a sudden there is no mice. I think it's just because it's spring and it's nice outside. That gives my brother time to figure out how the dang mouse got in and do a blockade.🤔😉

I know mine wandered in through the door - I saw him - but as soon as i tried to catch him he disappeared. I thought he must have run back out, but in his panic he took a wrong turn and ended up in my bedroom. Hopefully the new trap will work. 🤞

Otherwise you might get a surprise when you go to bed🤣. I remember all the insects that used to get into the house in Malaysia mosquitoes, chiladas, crickets, in a tropical climate you couldn't help the odd cockroach. In our last house when we had returned to the UK and dad had to return to Malaysia to work he found he was in bed with 9" centipede. From the point of view of a lepidopterist like me the Butterfly and moth population was magnificent and I will always remember the Atlas moths on Mount Kinabalu.

For once I got to see one of the beautiful sky shows last night. I didn't even have to get up out of bed. It flowed by through my window for a couple of hours or more. So it was a beautiful pink moon night for me. Even though it is orange 😉🤔😊

Dear Lyn,

I shall be watching the Boat Races on the TV tomorrow and I shall be supporting Oxford how about you?

Natrah
Doesn't seem like a year since the last one. I usually support Oxford too.
There's a lot of controversy this year and bad feeling between the 2 universities and regarding the sewage in the Thames
I usually think may the best team win but with the accusations of olympic and professional rowers allegedly being recruited just for the race, it's difficult to know which is truthfully the best. ☹️

We had a beautiful moonlit night last night. The full moon was so bright it was like dusk at 3 am.

Good morning all.
It's cloudier, windier and chillier here today but we didn't have the rain we were expecting yesterday just a few quick showers.

I found out yesterday that my quiet little town seems to be rife with drug dealers and criminals 😮.
A garage on the end of my street which had new owners a few years ago was recently raided and the owners have been charged with possessing and supplying class
A and B drugs. I wondered how a really small business could afford so many brand new transit type vans - seems they were bought with I'll gotten gains.
There has also been a rapid growth in Kurdish and Turkish style barbers throughout the UK - several in my small town - but looks like many of these are owned by criminal gangs and just fronts for drug and people trafficking etc. 😡
It's quite scary really how widespread these crimes are and getting worse. I have wondered why we need so many barbers around here and they never seem to be busy which apparently is one of the give away signs of money being made illegally. What a world we lived in!
Anyway, it's Sunday again and I hope everyone has a peaceful day.
