Pleased you haven't fried yourself with the electrics, Jeff and hope you enjoying simmering in the hot tub.
I have this image of you and Kerry surrounded by floating vegetables and being stirred occasionally by a cannibal! 😀
Yeah when the cannibal pulls on Jeff's arm. The meat will fall off the bone.😅

First off....ms Cathie there is no coffee that doesn't need cream and sugar! LOL

I'm sorry to hear of your friend Lyn. We get used to "blowing through" an illness till it doesn't work. Then we are in trouble.

We went to buy 2 more rolls of insulation to finish the tub last night. Huge difference between the insulated side and the one left uninsulated.
28F ambient- 30f read on insulated side, 30f on the top, 42 on the noninsulated side! That side is losing a lot of heat energy! I'll slow it's roll this morning.

I sent this pic to our porch builders yesterday to thank them for their part in this scheme!

Note to self....dont forget your hat when using tub below 30F!

Now it's time to learn how to keep water clean and sparkling! The water quality is excellent here. Surprising since we have a well. Just a tad acidic at 5.9- 6.2 PH but all the other metrics look great. The water is even semisoft! A bit of potassium hydroxide will raise the PH and slightly soften the water but i have to be careful cause i have to wear PPE gear. A tablespoon of this in a 1/4 cup of water will cause it to explode! You have to have some working knowledge of dealing with dangerous stuff. I have and use the gear!

Thinking about Mark this morning....a nice guy and i miss his adventures.

(Screw you Ray) LMAO

Good afternoon everyone and especially Lyn,

On my way to the shops I came across a group of people making a short film. We had a friendly chat and I stopped myself from saying that if you'd been here before the neighbours moved out you would have had something more interesting to film🤣🤣! Would your neighbours like a film crew Lyn?

Rose and Nanay left early Wednesday morning. Be home Sunday evening. Rose clothes she brought are for cool weather. I guess they are having some warm weather. I told her to get some lighter clothes. I asked her to stay off of Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills. 😬😬
All I can say, is good luck with that. I had lunch yesterday with my brother and sis-in-law at a new shop/cafe/nursery/community center established by a local church and social Justice center. My brother is kind of a minimalist, he tosses most stuff, my SIL is kind of the opposite, she homed in on the "Goods" for sale in the shop, noting that she had not brought he purse with her several times while we were there. She is sure to come back later with some things....

Good evening/afternoon all.
Its been a soggy day here.

I went to the funeral of a friend's mother today which was so sad. She was 86 but could probably have gone on longer if she hadn't ignored a water infection. It turned to sepsis and by the time she sought help it was too late. So a cautionary tale there for all of us. 😒
I was going to risk driving my car but decided against it and ended up taking a bus, train and taxi to get there. Which wasn't as bad as it sounds, and I had a lift back so it all worked out well.
I'm taking my car to the garage tomorrow to see what the mechanic thinks. I'm hoping it's the cheapest of all the problems it could be🤞🙏. We'll see.
I hope everyone here is having a good day.
In my experience, it is better to get the thinks looked at early, it can be a lil cheaper that way, and if you let things slowly "pile up" it ends up making it hard to justify the repairs....

Dear Lyn,

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's mum and I'm sorry about the bad weather. It was awful here yesterday as well and I reported a leak in the gutter above the neighbour's window. Anyway it's better weather here today and I hope your car's alright.

They might - they think everyone else likes being filmed with their Ring door bell and cameras in all their windows. We don't have front gardens so they're filming everyone and everything that goes on in the street not just on their property which ends at the doorstep. Some of the neighbours call them the creeps with cameras.
I suspect they have a small camera pointing at my garden, but I can't see for sure with light on the glass.

I have to admit I love a nice hot latte or cappuccino sometimes 😊 it still has to be made with a good expresso though 😉 caramel is especially good 👍

Me too. I'd love to see what he's turning up lately with his woodworking.

For as much coffee I drink, I can't afford the "Good Stuff" (and I really don't need it) but when I go out to dinner or breakfast I DO taste the difference...
I used to be able to drink coffee all day. I love it. Anymore, I just enjoy my morning coffee wake me up. I make about 20 ozs and finish off about half of it. I don't throw it away until the end of the day though. Cold coffee can be used for burns, iced coffee, etc 😊
