Good afternoon/evening all.
Nothing exciting happening here this weekend. The weather's been better - just one short sharp hail shower today.

I've spent the day doing my nephew's laundry as we still haven't bought him a washing machine yet - hopefully next week.

I was pleased to see that a hedgehog has made it to my garden again this year. I've been leaving a trail camera out at night for the last few weeks to see if any would pop in and was very happy to see quite a healthy looking one sniffing around. There's no way of knowing if it's one from last year but hopefully this one will be a regular visitor too. I've set up the feeding station and left out some dry kitten biscuits to help build him up after his winter hibernation, so watch this space for hedgehog headlines!

I hope you're all having a good weekend. Nos da for now.
I figure your new hedgehog is at least a family member of your hedgehog family. It would be strange if s/he isn't. Especially since animals have territorys they live in.😊

I wish I could get myself to move.😉 it's been such nice weather the last few days but not today. Today the temperature dropped with some rain thunder and lightning. So I'm being a slouch. Sapphire wasn't happy either because he had to stay inside. Since his room is warm he figures he should be able to go outside again today. I hate telling him no.😞 that's the problem with this time of year.

Even our sunny days are still a bit chilly with northerly winds coming at us. It's supposed to be a bit warmer towards the end of the week but with stronger winds again.
Lola has a favourite sheltered spot he likes to lie in when he wants to bask, so he may venture out for longer in a few days, but at the moment he prefers his heated hide.

Good morning, friends.
Gonna be another nice day here in the SF bay area.
Probably last one for a wee bit, rain to come tomorrow, Tuesday & Wednesday.
I'm running out the other side of the county later on, A Bird friend of mine has a Friend who is a toy Vendor from SoCal.
He's spreading the love with reduced prices, So, I really can't afford it right now after having to shell out $3500 for taxes a week ago, but it has been a bit since I got all the kids new Shredder toys.
THAT, is their job . . . to make a frickin MESS for Mom. Take the toy and turn it into a pile.
All the tortles will be out in the tortle tub again today, and I need to get Seymour out, to wander.
That kid sure gets around....
Take care friends, hope you have a very pleasant day....

You're as bad as me 🤗 Mr Fre thinks toys are better than food. So of course I can't resist it. I buy him a new one at least once a week 🙃 his friends love to visit because they can sneak off with a buried toy in their pet carrier. It's costing me a fortune 😉 but it's hilarious. And worth it 😁At least I have less toys to pick up 😂

When I was a child, my parents had a Siberian Crab Apple tree in their garden, and I was sometimes allowed to sit in it and read. I loved that tree, and the tiny glossy red apples - not many good memories of those days, but this tree was certainly one.
So when Richard and I moved here, I was determined to get one of these trees. That was about 30 years ago -and here it is ! Probably not exactly the same -but lovely. We have had some major winds today, and I
think the blossom has suffered, but this photo was taken before the winds !

Gorgeous tree Angie...enjoy it before April's showers beat it up.

I worked on Matt's new house. I managed to have a poopsy oopsy . this is my septic field piping.. .way down at the bottom of the hole, the one with a hole in it...and Jeff's instant repair kit next to the hole! LOL

Cover the hole with impermeable material, cover materials with rock then backfill. All done.

I'm shot though....wood and concrete both beat me half to death today. I finished up and came in and lay directly on my 12x12 icepack!👍

Enjoy the day guys and oh, N....glad the dentist didn't ruin your day!

I have a Crab apple tree in my front yard too. Aren't they amazing! I don't know what possessed me to plant mine though. My apples are 5 inches across. . Not pretty little ones like yours Wildlife love them though especially birds. Yours is so pretty. I can just imagine what it looks like with the birds that are drawn to it.😊

Good evening everyone!

Before teaching today I was hoping to do a lot of cleaning in the flat. However I was slightly delayed because I had to do some unexpected cleaning in Jacky's enclosure! Her breakfast was also due to a leaking tortoise 🐢!

And . . they seem to "leak" at the most inopportune time....
