Watch a detective series called Midsummer Murders?
Yes can't get away from them here. They've been running for years and repeats are on one channel - sometimes all day! I did enjoy them first time around .
Are you watching the ones with John Nettles or Neil Dudgeon as the DCI?
That Midsummer is a dangerous place to live!!😀

I am not sure who the DCI is. I will look next time Rose has it on. I am not sure which TV supplier she is using.

I'm not on the other side of the pond, but Midsomer Murders is one of my favorites. I started watching it on our PBS channel, then when I went to Antenna TV I picked it up on Brit Box,, and have seen all the episodes from the very beginning.

Just found out that it is John Nettles.
Also Midsomer not Midsummer
I did wonder about the spelling but couldn't be bothered to check. Pronounced the same though.
JN is the original DCI, Tom Barnaby - and when he 'retired from the force' his job was taken by his cousin John Barnaby (ND) - keeping it in the family.

With everything else going on around here I'll never be able to find the BBS channel. But I've seen ads for it on my fire TV 😉 lately. I'd love to try because I've had to use a VPN to get on something like that before. I couldn't understand why I couldn't watch Linda and the Folly Wildlife center in the UK. Why not 🤔it was a wonderful show. Nothing political so why not?

I came across a complete set of Inspector Morse books, and I read them all, but I didn't really like them much, so I don't think I would like the programmes, even though they are set in Oxford, where I once lived, and which is a wonderful place.

Good afternoon/evening all.
We have had a beautiful day here
with temps up to mid 50s,, but it's not going to last. We have yellow warnings for wind and rain tomorrow, so it's batten down the hatches time again. It won't be as bad as the poor people in Kentucky have been through. I hope none of our members have been affected.

I hope you're all having a good weekend. TTFN

I used to go on music holidays there and then I when I saw any of these programmes I would try and I identify all the colleges.

Natrah

PS: My friend from orchestra said her mother was evacuated to Oxford during the war when she was pregnant because didn't want to bomb any of the colleges.

It's been really cold here for the past week. Some snow but not what Virginia got. The toughest part was having to go to appointments. Mother nature hates me. The coming week is going to be lovely and springy.🤔😊
