And well... With two sulcattas that like each other and the family he could use our helpYeah, yeah, Ray--Opo. We all know that's just what you are telling her, and the wild raucous parties you are going to have and then act innocent and bored when she comes home. You could have at least invited us to some of them!
Dad's family home is flooded as usual and his half-brother is prepared for the worst but otherwise everyone is fine.Mainly West Malaysia where the family are.
Kinda sounds like it is a common occurrence. It sucks having to deal with a flooded home. But good that they are safe.Dad's family home is flooded as usual and his half-brother is prepared for the worst but otherwise everyone is fine.

I think we'll have a few here over the next couple of days. We have an amber warning for heavy rain for 24 hours from tonight. Then a yellow warning for Tuesday. I hope your area is drier, Natrah and that your family are safe.Hope my friends in Malaysia aren't affected by floods.

Thankyou Lyn. It's been a lovely day here but I think tomorrow's rain will affect mainly your area. The neighbour seems to be still around so I've emailed the landlords and I hope to find out when the key is meant to be returned. I've ordered a new computer as my one is packing up and I am quite pleased with purchasing an HP Intel at £199 which Argos says is a Black Friday price.I think we'll have a few here over the next couple of days. I guess it is that time of the year, when animals try to get indoors. My grandparents have caught two mice, one from the garage and one from the kitchen. They haven't had any in a few year, so it is a bummer.Good afternoon/evening all. Today has been quite bright but that's all due to change tonight with a deluge on its way to us. I've been out looking at beds for my nephew to buy for his new flat. But he needs to try them really. They are so expensive now. The price has shot up since I last bought one, so if he has to spend a fortune he must get one he really likes.
I didn't get much sleep last night. Something was ratching around in the attic. I've been up there today but no sign of the culprit. I hope it's just a mouse and nothing bigger. I've put a few traps down so hopefully I can evict him soon. .
I hope everyone is having a peaceful Sunday.
Lyn, I didn't get a good night sleep last night, also. One of my kids, Woodie has Congestive heart failure. He's on several Med's. Vetmedin, which strengthens Heart contractions and 2 diuretics. They are slowly losing their effect. He was on my bed last night, I Had to get up 3 times to let him out to Pee & tank up. He was coughing an awful lot, Funny thing is, during the day, he coughs a lil bit, but at night starts hacking & hacking. Hoping you get your Mouse issue taken care of soon.Good afternoon/evening all. Today has been quite bright but that's all due to change tonight with a deluge on its way to us. Good evening everyone!I hate to admit it but maybe i wasn't paying attention? Which kid is Woodie?? It's tough knowing you can't fix it. Sounds like both of your lives have been enriched. Hang in there.
I get you guys on "beds" also. I slept on 5 mattresses on a waterbed for many decades. Kerry and i got a sleep # bed in May. My number must not be anywhere on their scale!I swear it hates me.
i hung some carrots for the animals....we will see who gets them.
i wonder who is getting snow? W? MS Cathie?

Talking about beds, I don't think they last as long any more either. When I bought my first bed, I was told every 6 months to rotate, then next to flip it to give it time to restore itself. I think new beds, there is no flipping, maybe rotating, but no flipping...
Woodie is a Terrier I got of of the UPS driver where I worked. I was coming in for Break from working in the Plant. Walked past the UPS truck, and the driver was pushing a lil dog back inside his truck. I remarked that I was surprised that UPS let the drivers bring their dog along with them, He said OH No, they are not! He was in a housing/light industrial area earlier. He just made a delivery and was starting to drive off, and in his mirror saw a dog running after the truck, he stopped, and looked around and saw no one. Fearing he may get ran over/hit, he put him in his truck. So, back at the plant, I asked him where he was found and what he was going to do. He said he didn't know, maybe keep him. I told him someone is going to be looking for this Lovie, and he need to contact Animal control (AC), and post flier to find the owner. Since I live a few miles away I offered to do this, he said OK, and left the dog with me at the plant. I put him in a shower stall in the women's bathroom till I got off work. I got in touch with AC , and posted 30 fliers in the area. I never heard from anyone, So I held him for 30 days (Required by AC) then figured he had wormed his way into my heart, so he became Woodie, 12 years ago...he has been a good dog for the most part. If he stepped out of line, and I had to scold him, he had no problem showing me his teeth. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 congestive heart failure in the beginning of June, so I know we don't have a lot of time left together...At night when he's coughing up a storm, I think this is it, but the next day, he only coughs occasionally, and I think, ok, we got a few more days together. When he's coughing I know he's in duress, But he still hops around here, eats good, and he does NOT appear to be in any pain...I hate to admit it but maybe i wasn't paying attention? Jeff, you are indeed lucky to have such a great guy in your life. We always hear stories of In-laws that involve a lot of drama, that when you have one that the relationship just is like an old friend . . is a treasure, It has been wonderful hearing about your travels with him. He's sounds like a gem...and you tooWe watched a movie last night with Kerry's 95 yr old father. I really love him. He Is a prince of a man to everyone. All that said....im not sure he knows TV is fake! Kind of funny that we need to explain the story too sometimes.
The guy is still sharp enough to hold meaningful conversations about any subject. It's like talking to your buddy, not a very old man. Today we will take him to see his cousin who lives very near my old house. The cousin and i get along great. He does old cars and a Cushman and always has a few cool things going on.
Our time with her Dad is ending. Her brother will drive down from Long Island to take him home tomorrow. I will miss him being here mostly....he just woke to go to the bathroom....do you know what THAT sounds like even with solid wood doors in the middle of the night?? He's 95.....LOL
Poor Woodie, so sorry he's ill. You've given him a great life - he's been a very lucky boy. I know whatever time hd has left will be filled with love.Lyn, I didn't get a good night sleep last night, also. One of my kids, Woodie has Congestive heart failure. He's on several Med's.
