Unfortunately, he more likely has none and is now "forced" into untenable positions because of his past decisions. I spent time where he is as a teen and he might learn he way to a better life but that remains up to him. "He" is why I sold my home rather than rent it out for double my mortgage. So few people have manners and do the right thing when no one is watching that it was easier to dump it and enjoy the profit once than to rent it at a massive profit monthly. I didn't make it that way, they did. They will deal with it.

Here's a difference in renters;

The little girl with braces across the street who works as the dispensary didn't work today so she gave me an 1/8th that she'd been saving for me for when she got the text from me but wasn't working. I thought it was pretty cool of her so I hooked her up even though it was a gift. There are 4 kids there 18-22 who rent the home so when I went over to get my gift....well, some of us have kids, we know what I expected to see! LOL
The home was very neat and fresh so you couldn't tell they had pets. Decor was typically "young" but all of a sudden two things happened, the 105LB girl handed me my goodies and her heretofore unseen/unheard Great Dane leapt for me/us. As I watched and fell into a more defensible position, this tiny girl jumped on the huge dogs collar. "She's blind and doesn't know you" I immediately right or wrong began talking steady and calmly noting how beautiful that massive beast was, and it was too! She chilled and allowed Meg to take her into another room and not to eat jeff today! Yeah, that whole "defense thing" would have likely consisted of jeff howling like a baby!

Good fun, so then I rake/blow the back yard and as I'm finally dragging the leaves into the woods, raking stomping, you know the drill. I look up and 5 deer are within 30-40 feet, just watching me work. I stop and go get kerry and she her, they were still there! It's just not natural....it's cool but it's weird. How many of you are jumpy when working outside because you look into the face of a deer all of a sudden, over and over and over?? LOL

So with Kerry's Dad gone I have my computer & 3' monitor back! I have a thing about house guests. When her dad for instance is here, the extra bathrobe hanging in the downstairs bathroom is his, I don't use it. The downstairs bathroom is his, we don't use it. He uses the downstairs bedroom with also doubles as my office, I don't come into "his room" when he is here.
Are you guys like that too?

Yes we do. And it is spooky when wild animals decide they love you but enjoy anyway. You don't have to forget they're wild in the meantime.Be careful while you enjoy. Give them respect.

Good afternoon/evening all.
My nephew's bed is finally ordered.
One of my sisters who is a much better negotiator than me took over and managed to increase the Black Friday discount from 25% to 31%. She even came away with some free mattress and pillow protectors.
She is a very 'no nonsense ' person - a salesman's nightmare!!

I finally had my long awaited dental appointment today, so the filling is done and hopefully will be trouble free now. I thought the appointment was on the 13th and the chiropodist was today so it's a good job they sent me a reminder yesterday so that I had treatment at the right end.

Its been all quiet in the attic last night and tonight so I think mousey may have left of his own accord. He's avoided my traps and probably doesn't like me disturbing him by popping up there so often to check them. I can't see where he's getting in to block it so I just hope he's moved on. Only time will tell. I'll spray some peppermint and other deterrents around to make life as uncomfortable as possible for him so he won't want to come back.
Anyway time for bed now. so nos da and take care .

It's so beautiful watching the red Cardinals getting after the birdseed. The crabapple tree totally covered with deep snow. I'm warm and cozy inside. I didn't have anywhere I had to be.

My grandparents have caught five more mice from their attached garage, not sure if any more has gotten inside their house. Hopefully not.

Of course Cathie and the landlords have replied to my email saying that they are working with the tenants to vacate the property. They also say that they are asking for my patience.

I'm just letting you know about dad's family home in Malaysia. The water is now reversing and no one is staying there at the moment. The wider family usually come to stay when visiting other relatives in the area. That house has been in the family for about a century and it's sad to see it like this.

Yes, probably not the first time it has been flooded, and probably won't be the last.
Typically there is not a whole lot folks can do, unless they want to move heaven and earth.
But usually that is not an option. You just deal with it when it comes, and pray that everyone stays safe.

Tonight is supposed to get really cold and break records. It's already 21°f in the back yard at going on 7 pm. Today I really had a beautiful time though watching birds filling up ahead of time. My little Red bellied woodpecker even visited. So I made sure the feeder is full. I love it when he visits.

Oh, dear, Hope it not too bad and is able to be contained,,,,It can be hard to go back to sleep under those conditions...I have to get up several times a night to let My kid, Woodie out to do his business and tank up...so I know what it is like....

As usual there will be some demonstrations in the capital, a part of the tradition, and I will try to follow them too.
