Yesterday at 6am it was 88F/88%

Right now it's 73F/71%

Sweet relief! Since we're leaving town for a bit I programmed both robot mowers NOT to mow on Sun & Thurs. When I get real brave today i will attempt to program the sprinklers to come on only on Sun & Thursdays. We'll see how that comes out?

Enjoy the day guys!

N, here we have an appropriate response to the TP caper.

"Sh*t or get off the pot" no offense intended of course!

I could see myself in her situation. I wouldn't ask for help either. It's a bitter pill being alone when you didn't ask for

Just one of those "cool things to do" but thank you.

Kerry got up early enough to see mama deer and her fawn this morning. We also saw another mama with THREE knobby sons who were probably born late last fall! They looked like triplets! Pictures through a screen is near impossible..View attachment 401037
This is a pic I took Fri morning....screens make bad camera filters! LOL
Don't I know that ! Screens and doggy nose printed windows both do not make good pictures. My bad pictures are proof though.😊

It's 430am and dark...yet one of the male Cardinals is up and advertising his virility, loudly! Heck he can't even see the branch he's sitting on but he's already looking for company. What a beast!

Thanks guys...we will pack today. The robot programming didn't work out so well the first time. I realized this when it mowed and recharged and mowed....over and over and over! I think I've corrected the issue but I'll ask neighbors to help me out if they see one stuck or otherwise being stupid.

Matt the box turtle gets a great meal today but then he's on his own for a week or so he will be fine...he's a fat little turtle.

Supposed to be another nice day today...62f and 81% now....feels good outside.

There is a girl on Instagram who poster that when she came home from holiday (1week)
She found her turtle flipped and RATS ATE OFF ITS FRONT LEGS AMD PART OF ITS BACK LEGS AND TAIL AND THEN THEY WERE TRYING TO EAT THE SHELL!!!!
I was mortified!!!!!
I guess she saw it on her ring camera?

How awful! Jacky's original partner didn't survive her first winter because she was attacked by a mouse during hibernation.

Very wet here again today. Looks like a long hot stretch coming up for us next week though - too hot for me!

A mouse? I've heard of rats chewing on torts but surprised they to hear mice will too. That's very sad.

That's terrible. Rats will easily attack torts though. I've wondered if that's how Lola lost his back foot. It often happens in hibernation if the tort has been left outside.

He won't eat for a week 😯?
Lola wouldn't last that long - he'd start eating things he shouldn't. They can last longer without food than water I know but I'd be worried Lola would spill his and wouldn't even have that. I think maybe I worry too much.
