Why when I look at other peoples Leopard photos are alot of them really light in colour,, My Peggy is really dark compared to alot of them!!

AH thanks so do I,,,, if SHE is a SHE after all that........ Just curious as to why some are SO light...

There is no control over color apparently, which really makes leopards unique. I've hatched 20+ babies now and each one is different. Some dark, some light, some tan, some cream colored. Some with fantastic markings while others are plain. You will NEVER find two identical leopards. Plus, they change as they grow so you never know what you will have later. It is the leopard surprise. :p

Mine was dark when I got him but all new growth is white. Never know, but I love all the variations. Yours is a lovely chocolate mocha!


Two kids, One husband, One Hines57, One Leopard Tortoise, and a room at the sanitarium lol
