hi

I a few days ago i acquired two 1.5yrs old leopard tortoise (approx. 8cm). They seem to be very shy. I have to give food right infront of their hide. And they dont seem very interested. They will have a nibble but wont go through to actually eating in (they sort of just putting in the mouth then decide not to continue) also, they sniff the food alot. When they do eat, its very minimal. However when im not there, they seem to roam around the enclosure and active. But they do spend alot of time in their hide.

Why is this the case? Is it because they havent adjust to their new enclosure? Or could it be that theyve actually been eating the grasses in their enclosure, hence uninterested in the greens that i give them?

Thanks alot :)
Ive also attached a picture of their enclosure
