Hello! I am selling a Common Musk turtle and his complete setup for $75 OBO. This includes his tank and stand, hide, filter, filter media, food, daytime heat bulb and lamp, and GB himself. I'm willing to negotiate the price, but I do need money for him as I invested a lot in him and need money to move, and as he is my best friend's I want to make sure he's going to a good home.
GB and I live in the Seguin area, and are willing to travel within 1 1/2 hours to rehome him. This means as far as Boerne/Comfort, San Antonio, Austin, and the Round Rock areas. I am local to New Braunfels and San Marcos. But, if it will take me more than 45 mins to get him to his new home, I'll be asking an extra 10 bucks, non negotiable. I'm operating on a really strict budget right now. If you live any farther and are interested, shoot me a message and we can talk about it.
I really need him gone by December 18, but Christmas at the very latest.
GB is an adult common musk. He is 8 years old, and was found by his original family at Landa Park in New Braunfels as a baby. He is at just about 4 inches, but he's squirmy, and frankly, I'm terrified of his jaw power. He is definitely a he, as he has recently come into sexual maturity. His girlfriend is a rock. GB is shy as he was not handled much growing up, but he loves to be watched and will watch you intently. He also tries to "fight" and has an adorable "mean mug".
If you have any questions, please let me know. I want him to go to a good, loving home, with people who appreciate turtles.
