Just was wondering, with cold and flu season just around the corner, is there any risk of a tort contracting any cold or flu from a human? I ask because I work with the public, and it never fails that i catch a cold at some point when the season rolls around. If there is a risk then ill probably get a flu shot this year just in case. Any opinions are appreciated as always.

Yeah human to chelonian or reptile zoonosis from said transfer is very unlikely. however, it is the same time around that can cause many keepers issues with RI and bubbly symptoms

Not really. However, when we bring the torts indoors or put them in more cramped, stressed conditions, their susceptibility to whatever germs are laying around increases... sort of like ours.
