I was going to use air barrier plastic (?) I found in storage for the liner in the tort table, then duct tape it a few inches up the sides. But I read about corugated plastic, would that be ok to bend in the corners and is it a good idea?

You can bend it in the corners, with tabs like those little origami paper boxes kids make. But there will be a small hole in the corner that you will have to do something about. Also, they come in 4' x 8' sheets (at least from sign stores) so if you want tall walls, it might not work out depending on the size of your table.
