Croaking?

Hi I'm sure this may seem like a silly question but I noticed that my Russian Tort moves his throat, it almost looks like a frog's throat when he croaks..no noise though. Just checking if this is normal?

Also, he does it so hard that it makes his whole head move. That's why it's making me a little worried. Can someone explain? Thank you!

It helps them breathe if I remember correctly.

What your describing does sound like normal breathing movement. Sorta relieved here, when I read croaking, I thought he was close to death...ya scared me! :D
