Cuora Flavomarginata Mating?

I observed my male flavo chasing my female. He would wedge his head and body under her and then rub the top of his head on the underside of her chin. Is this normal mating behavior that y'all have observed with your Flavos?

I had to separate my adult male from the two females. He tormented one female by biting and dragging her the other female stayed buried. I saw some of the same behavior in the video.
