current cold weather setup

Just thought I'd share some pics of our current setup. My husband built all three enclosures, I think they came out great . He is currently working on bases for them so we can get them off of the random furniture we put them on..lol. When the bases are done, they will all be nice and level against the wall. They are all 4' x 2.5'. Two house hatchlings, the other is Tinas. Tina is bigger and will be getting an addition to hers (L-shape) once we can move her to the outside enclosure.

Thanks! It's really nice having them in the living room. I love sitting on the couch, drinking a beer (i seem to do a lot of this ) and watching them. I watch them more than the tv!

Those are some awesome looking enclosures! I'm probably going to be building one or two like that soon, about how much did the supplies run ya? What are you using for the bedding? Those are definitely some happy little torts

UVB does travel through fine mesh screens, it's just reduced. Most Chameleon keepers use mesh enclosures and we have our lighting on top of the enclosure going through the fine mesh screens. Arcadia lighting can confirm this is the case if you don't want to take my word for it.

Yes, you caught me, they are security cameras! Then, I have an app on my phone so I can see what's going on whenever I want. Some might use the words "obsessive", or "crazy" I prefer caring

The bases to these are coming along nicely! Here are a couple pics of the first one done. We are going to put a "floor" on them, so I can put some baskets in. I have a thing for baskets!
