baby Hermanns tortoise setup

Hi

I got 2 baby Hermann tortoises about 2 months ago, one of them hatched in July and on in August of 2018.
I built them an inclosure and I'm pretty happy how it turned out, the phone you see in the picture is a camera so I can make sure they are doing alright when I'm in school. If anyone has tips to improve my setup please do share them! Any tips really with baby tortoises are welcome. I love them tofu (the bigger tortoise) is super friendly and loves to be petted on his/her head. Kovu is a bit shyer but he/she is still very cute. I have them under a big 12 percent tl bulb and a separate heat bulb. The setup is 1,5 metres in length and 0,8 metres wide, I do plan on building a bigger one once they have grown but for the next few years, I think this will do fine. They seem to really enjoy their setup and are always sunbathing or exploring. The setup didn't break the bank I think I spent 130 dollars in total.

It looks amazing! However, your tortoises need to be separated.
Tortoises are solitary creatures, and do not get lonely. They only see other tortoises as combatants or mates, and it is very stressful for them to be together.

Also, replace the water bowl with a terra cotta saucer. Those bowls are huge flipping hazards, and tortoise death traps.

Have you double checked the temperature on the floor of the enclosure? The lights look to be a little to high to me. ?????

It's a really strong bulb, the floor temperature is around 32 degrees celcius.

Also, replace the water bowl with a terra cotta saucer. Those bowls are huge flipping hazards, and tortoise death traps.

Thanks! I saw a bit of a struggle when they tried getting out but didn't know a good alternative I will definitely go out and buy it!
