Dandelions

I recently ordered some dandelion seeds to plant in my enclosure. I brought some soil out of my yard. What do I need to do to make sure this soil is safe?

What other things should I plant with dandelion seeds that would be safe for my baby Russian? He is trying to eat the fake plants, so I want to put something in there that he can eat.

Judging from your enclosure size, spider plant, ice plant, clover, opuntia cactus and grass seeds.

The dirt from your yard should be safe if you have not used any fertilizer or pesticides on it in the last 6 months or more.
