Judging by the shape of your tortoises head this is an Aldabra tortoise.
Very easy to tell looking at adults and the little one still looks like an Aldabra. If the seller said it was a Galapagos Tortoise I hope he was honest. Missing the nuchal scute likely is a Galap however the rounded forehead looks Aldabra. This must be a baby characteristic that changes with age as several other things do.
I think Moses bought his from Richard Fife, so I don't doubt the Galapagos ID.
Thanks so much and yes to the first part the civil suite was settled out of court.Oh, excuse the ring. Darwin 1 was an Aldabran and THIS Darwin is a Galop. Lovely little guy.
Thanks so muchSo adorable and beautiful creature !! )
He is and getting biggerVery cute little one!
It is not an Aldabra actually. It is a Galapagos tortoises from jerry Fife himself with the parents having been DNA tested for specific islandJudging by the shape of your tortoises head this is an Aldabra tortoise.
