Desert tort Enclosure

they had three enclosures, two torts.. silly me.. no pics of that! it was so hot, i just snapped the enclosure pics with intent to show hubby... ;-)
They said that they don't intend on replacing them when the two they have die. Sad... they take great care of them and i think its important for people to see
them and how it should be done. They hibernate them inside since they get snow.

That is a fantastic enclosure. A fine example of one way to do it right.

Second pic. you can see the burrow in this one.. its blocked so they don't hide all day. He was over in the shade.

Cool. I wish I could have a nice sloping hill like that for my enclosures.

ONLY when I look at enclosures like this do I wish I lived in a warmer climate!
My babies are in for several months of the year :(
