Did I do something wrong?

I have had my Russian tortoise for a little over a year. A couple of times I have caught him eating his poo. It's really gross and I wanted to make sure that this wasn't the effect of anything I did. Should I be doing something different? Thanks!

It's normal for them to eat their own poop. If you prefer he not do it, the only thing you can do is try and get it out of the enclosure before he has the chance to eat it.

Agree! Totally normal!
The first hing I go after in the morning is tortoise poo. I try to get it before they do. Gross!
